  • Progress, a modest but comfortable living 小康 xiǎokāng refers to, a much sweeter and evocative term for “middle class”. 康 is a character we associate more with good health, but in this case refers “abundance”, an older definition that is now predominantly associated with the word 小康. Despite the humble sweetness of this word, for many 小康 is a rather bitter word  to utter, because they must toil away and still barely attain what is supposed to be a very ordinary kind of good life. Xiaokang has been the goal of all development for several decades, with the ultimate goal, of communism, way over the horizon.

  • འབྱོར་འབྲིང་།  小康  

འབྱོར་འབྲིང་小康༼ ཞིའོ་ཁང་།༽ཞེས་པ་ནི་ ༼ འབྱོར་བ་འབྲིང་གི་གྲལ་རིམ༽་མཚོན་པའི་ཐ་སྙད་སྙན་པོ་དང་སྤྲོ་སྣང་སློང་བ་ཞིག་ཡིན་འདུག 康ཁང་ ཞེས་པ་ནི་ང་ཚོས་བདེ་ཐང་དང་འབྲེལ་ནས་གོ་བ་ལེན་པའི་ཡིག་འབྲུ་ཞིག་ཡིན་ནའང་། དཔེ་མཚོན་འདིའི་ནང་དུ་༼འབེལ་འབེལ་ལྷུག་ལྷུག༽་གི་དོན་སྟོན་པ་ཡིན། དེ་ནི་ཐ་སྙད་ཀྱི་གོ་དོན་རྙིང་པ་ཞིག་ཡིན་ཞིང་། ད་ལྟ་ཞའོ་ཁང་小康་ཞེས་པ་དེ་ལ་གོ་བ་ཤས་ཆེར་ལེན་པ་ཡིན། ཐ་སྙད་འདི་ལ་སྙན་ཆ་ཕལ་བ་ཞིག་ལས་མེད་ཀྱང་། མི་མང་པོ་ཞིག་ལ་མཚོན་ན་ཞིའོ་ཁང་小康  ཞེས་པ་ནི་ཁ་ནས་བརྗོད་ན་སྙན་པོ་མེད་པའི་ཐ་སྙད་ཅིག་ཡིན། གང་ཡིན་ཞེ་ན། ཁོ་ཚོས་དེའི་དོན་ལ་ངེས་པར་དུ་དཀའ་ལས་མྱོང་དགོས་པ་དང་། འཚོ་བའི་བདེ་སྐྱིད་ཆེས་སྤྱིར་བཏང་བ་ཞིག་ཀྱང་ད་དུང་རག་དཀོན་པོ་འདུག  འབྱོར་འབྲིང་ནི་འཕེལ་རྒྱས་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱི་དམིགས་འབེན་དུ་བྱས་ནས་ལོ་ངོ་བཅུ་ཕྲག་ཁ་ཤས་སོང་ཟིན་པ་དང་། དེ་ནི་དམར་ཤོག་རིང་ལུགས་ཀྱི་མཐར་ཐུག་གི་དམིགས་འབེན་དང་ལྷན་དུ་རྒྱང་རིང་གི་གནམ་སའི་མཚམས་སུ་མཆིས་སོ།།
